King School’s PTO is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that supports the schools mission of “Keeping The Dream Alive Everyday.” We are a membership organization that welcomes all parents and guardians of King School students and all school faculty, all of whom are automatically members. Members are entitled to one vote on any issue before a general membership meeting of the PTO. The vote will be decided by a majority of members present at a given meeting.

Jennifer has a daughter in 3rd grade at King. She has been involved with with the PTO for the last two years and various events at King. Jennifer works at the University of Michigan Health System in cardiovascular research.
Vice President – Alfhildur Kristjansdottir
Alfhildur Kristjansdottir has a daughter (Emilia) in 1st grade at King as well as two King alumni, (Karl) 7th grader at Clague and (Kristin) sophomore at Huron. Alfhildur has helped with various PTO events since 2008 and is looking forward to a fun year at King. Alfhildur works for Michigan Medicine in Pediatric Surgery Research.
Secretary – Kate Delaney
Tim Pinto has a 4th grader and a kindergartener at King, and a 6th grader at Clague. He served on the King school improvement team for the last four years, and has also volunteered for the PTO in various capacities. He teaches at the University of Michigan Law School.
Charlie Cook has served as Assistant Treasurer on King PTO for 3 years. She has a 2.5 year old son, she is a CPA and lives and works in Ann Arbor as a Financial Analyst at Columbia Asset Management. She is looking forward to another year with the King PTO!
PTO Council Representative – Leslie Calhoun
Leslie Calhoun has two kids at King: a second grader (Jimmy Frey) and first grader (Declan Frey). She has volunteered at King as a past book fair co-chair for two years, and in various other roles. Leslie is an attorney and works for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
